Dowsing is a term normally associated with dowsing rods or divining rods. Today, modern day psychics are using this tool, or a
pendulum more often than ever in conjunction with a map, called 'map dowsing'. This divination technique is successful in finding
missing objects as well as people. History terms 'dowsers' as one who locates ground water with the divining rods or also known

Guidelines for Using the Pendulum

If using a pendulum for the first time, establish your directions for yes and no.
Simply say "Show me my direction for Yes...", allowing it to swing in the
direction of your energy's answer. Then ask for "No". These are your
established directions and will never change. The different directions on the right
are the movements you will find the pendulum will take. One for each direction
noted above to the right of the instructional film. Next, you will ensure an
accurate session each and every time that you use a pendulum by starting with
the following clearing statement. If you do get the answers you seek during the
following questions, you need to cleanse your pendulum under running water, or
soak it in sea salt water first, then hold it under running water to wash the
negative energy down the drain. To charge a pendulum, hold it in the smoke of
mugwort burning on a charcoal, or hang it outdoors in the sun and the moon
light for 24 hours.

Hints for success...

Keep your legs uncrossed
Stay away from high electromagnetic fields like the television, stereo
speakers, computer and monitor
Wear loose fitting clothing
Cleanse you pendulum regularly
Remain at least an arms length away from other people so to not pick up

Avoid emotional trigger words like should, need, try, always, never and

Breathe...often while waiting for it to move, people will hold their breath.
While using charts, look at the chart..read it rather than look at the tool.
Hold the pendulum over the central focal point.

CHARTS

There are lots of books on the market dedicated to pendulum charts. Some of them have over 100
various charts to use in our every day life! To give you an idea of what they are like, and how to
make your own when necessary, I have included some here on the page. Use your imagination,
there is nothing you can't create a chart for. For instance, I know a woman who uses charts that she
created just for eBay. How much should I start my listing at? Should I run the listing in a fixed or
auction format to attract the most viewers? How long should I run the auction? When is the best
day to start the listing?

You see what I mean. Anything...any type of information, past, present or future can be accessed
when you create your own pendulum chart. I recommend using Microsoft Word or Publisher.
